Tuesday, January 22, 11:19 AM ETGoogle (GOOG -1%) has ticked below $700 ahead of today's Q4 report. Stifel's Jordan Rohan (Hold) worries results will be hurt by the margin impact of Nexus tablet and Chromebook sales and a shift towards mobile ads (estimated to make up 20% of ad sales), which still carry much lower rates than PC ads. Soft mobile ad prices contributed to a 15% Y/Y cost per click decline in Q3, but at the same time, mobile ad sales appear to be soaring. The impact of YouTube's growth and shifting e-commerce ad sales are also worth keeping an eye on.
