Tuesday, January 22, 5:17 PM ETGolar LNG (GLNG) said on Monday it and LNG Partners agreed to buy all output of the Douglas Channel liquefied natural gas project, beginning in mid-2015, in the first such contract for Canada’s LNG industry. The 700K metric tons/year of LNG will be produced by the project backed by the Haisla First Nation aboriginal group and Douglas Channel Gas Services.
