Friday, January 25, 11:49 AM ETFirst Majestic Silver (AG -3.8%) says its Del Toro Silver Mine in Mexico has achieved initial silver production. Development of the three mines which comprise Del Toro has produced 97.7K metric tons of stockpiled ore. Phase 2 start-up is expected by July 1, while the final phase of production is on schedule for Q3 of 2014.
