Consumer watchdog groups already enraged at Time Warner Cable (TWC) over its high fees for cable services may hit Defcon 1 after the company passes on the cost of its LA sports network - replete with the exclusive rights to the Los Angeles Dodgers games - to customers. Though consumers have shown an unfaltering loyalty to sports programming and have consistently lapped up fee increases, with the Dodgers deal the company may be dangerously close to crossing the Rubicon.

  • I hope this only applies to TW customers in the LA/SoCal/Dodger market area. I live in Ohio and couldn't care less about the damn Dodgers, except when they're getting their butts kicked by Cincinnati! Make it a premium sports tier channel and let the people that want it pay for it.
