Fox News, "Fair and Balanced"; MSNBC, "Lean Forward"; CNN, "Always Moral Equivalency." If it were a good news channel, like it used to be, it might do okay. But a focus on politics without the guts to speak truth to power is not a winning recipe.

The low ratings is because CNN is moderate, not extreme. People love only hearing themselves, so they tune to extreme channels like FoxNews (with people like Hannity) or MSNBC (with people like Al Sharpton).

To increase ratings, they need to make it into more generic news instead of just politics focused.

MSNBC with Big Al is a joke. First off he is VERY hard to understand. Being older I have trouble hearing a clear speaker but he is over the top. His mumbling drives me nuts. How he got the job is wayyyy beyond me. lol

People tune in Fox because they go behind the scenes and the new is reported the same day it happens.
CNN misses the behind the scenes news or NEVER reports it.
