The Nikkei Average is currently up 0.9% to 10,958, with Telecoms leading gains: Softbank (SFTBF.PK +2.8%), KDDI (KDDIY.PK +2.6%), NTT DoCoMo (DCM +0.8%) and Nippon Telegraph & Telephone (NTT + 0.7%). Energy also trade higher: Japan Petroleum (JPTXF.PK +2.7%), and Inpex (IPXHY.PK +1.1%).
