Wednesday, January 30, 12:22 PM ET"The Z10 and BB10 represent a radical reinvention of the BlackBerry," says Walt Mossberg in a somewhat favorable review: he likes BB10's gesture support and keyboard, but criticizes its browser and dearth of cloud services. The Verge's Joshua Topolsky gives the Z10 a score of 7/10, praising its design and camera while criticizing its battery life and app ecosystem, as well as BlackBerry Hub. Engadget's Tim Stevens strikes a similar tone. As rumored, the Z10 runs on Qualcomm's (QCOM) popular MSM8960 processor. RIMM -7.4%. (more)

Citibank said corporate adoption will be slow, which makes sense given certifications and the planning needed in companies to roll out technology. BB10 will be available in Canada and England before the US launch, so you should get a glimpse of the potential sales when it launches in the US. Blackberries are very popular in both countries so it should get a rousing reception but if it doesn't watch out below.
Typical play!
This is the last ditch for RIM (now Blackberry); hopefully like General Nathaniel Greene strategy backing his troops against the river (no retreat till death)
I was really hoping for something more
Michael, go get a Black Berry! It is good for you!!!
Expectations (incl. mines) were "mid/end of Feb." for the U.S market, while nothing but Q1 was stated by BlackBerry. Basically, a later 15 days delay is a drama ... what a joke.
Anyway, when I state I'm long with $BBRY, I'm not talking about moving positions across several stock values; I'm talking about investing in a company, exactly as if they were private. I put some money where I believe the growth potential is big. It is still big, not to say huge, as the launch party we saw yesterday only explained 10% of the capabilities of the BlackBerry10 platform.
I invested long, I am long, I stand long. At least for 2-3 years; sticking with Thorsten Heins' plan.
I like that BB continues promoting a full desktop-class browser experience while the competition intentionally disables functionality in theirs. It allows me to avoid constantly buying an app-this and an app-that.
Still, some apps are useful, and I like that there will be a Bloomberg app, although wondering about Skydrive and whether TDAmeritrade will put out an app. Also looking forward to see how Docs2Go works via HDMI to a monitor off the phone....
