Deutsche is pleased gross profit (exc. forex) rose 44% Y/Y, and considers slowing unit growth a function of Amazon "choosing not to chase unprofitable retail units," and instead allowing 3rd parties to handle such items. The rally comes as Amazon announces it's building 3 new fulfillment centers in Texas, where it has begun collecting sales taxes. (more) (transcript)
