Toyota (TM +0.3%) expects to sell 500K Lexus vehicles globally in 2013, a 5% jump from last year's level. Last year, the luxury brand soared past BMW and Mercedes-Benz to retake the top spot in the U.S. luxury car segment, but new entries this year could pose a challenge.

  • We got our first Mercedes this year C-350 sport coup w/4 matic drive... blows away my Toyota camry (as it should)... I still love my Camry but it isn't nearly as fun to drive. My only gripe is the Fuel Mileage I feel like buying a luxury car shouldn't mean you are stuck with sub 25mpg.

  • Great comeback year for Lexus but didn't BMW have the most sales in 2012?
