    General Motors (GM -1.5%) can ease into the closure of one of its Opel plants in Germany as a combative trade union in the nation backs down a bit by issuing a list of terms it wants to see met with the shutdown. Production at the plant is scheduled to end in 2016.

  • Those German union workers don't want to budge an inch and yet GM has lost about 15 billions dollars during the last 11year. Do they think the rest of GM in different parts of the world will continue to carry them? I guess they'd rather work themselves out of a job.
