IDG analyst Bob O'Donnell claims 3G tablet sales have been "very slow," as consumers balk at paying for another data plan. The fact that much tablet use occurs in places where Wi-Fi is often available (homes, offices, coffee shops, etc.) could also be a factor. Regardless, this isn't news that AT&T (NYSE:T), Verizon (NYSE:VZ), and Sprint (NYSE:S) want to hear.
