    Will Yum Brands (YUM -0.4%) consider making a play for Wendy's (WEN +3.4%)? David Englander raises the idea as he notes how the positive changes at Wendy's makes the company quite attractive to Yum Brands which has a gaping hole in its restaurant brand portfolio without a burger business of its own. An acquisition would also lower the company's dependence on China - a sticking point to some investors at the moment.

    I think it'd be a great move, IF $YUM is committed to investing in Wendy's. Most locations are in need of renovation. But it could move $YUM into $MCD level of share price.

    Is the sticking point with the Wendy shareholders or Yums? I thought China would benefit Wendys quicker than what management has recently stated so was disappointed to hear what I recall as a 10 year plan.
