    It may not happen this year, but political stability and shallow waters are sure to entice Royal Dutch Shell (RDS.A) and other oil majors to return to drill in northern Alaska's seas. Exxon is at the center of a dispute in Iraq, oil is regularly stolen from Shell's Nigeria pipelines, and BP and Statoil are reviewing operations in North Africa after a deadly gas plant siege. The Arctic has no such risks. (also)

  • I agree with rjj1960. More of the COP management approach at the moment. Be safe, look inward. But, sell what you can internationally if the opportunity presents itself!

    "The Arctic has no such risks". Hmmm, maybe from geopolitical instability, but environmental disaster and huge understatement of costs due to climate change adversities and just being the Arctic.

    "No risks..."; how do you get hired to write this stuff???
