Like a chicken that's had its head chopped off and continues to run around before keeling over is how John Taylor sees the euro. Measured against the franc, yen, aussie, loonie, gold ... the euro shows every sign of weakness.

  • Decades of social justice, entitlements, early retirement pensions, union demands at the threat of a strike, robbing the dedicated hardworking in order to give to those who feel luke warm about succeeding - this has not worked out well.

  • It isn't too late for the Euro if they are willing to make drastic and necessary changes. If they make no changes, the demise is as inevitable as time.

  • Euro only has Germany propping it up on the back of extreme growth while it siphons the wealth out of its neighbors.

Euro strength is temporary, forex markets just waiting to the tide to turn...

Greece and Italy are only important with regard to their impact on the strength of the core to determine Euro strength, the Euro as a currency isn't going anywhere.
