    For now, SunPower (SPWR +1.2%) is holding onto the gains produced by yesterday's epic rally; shares are up 53% on the week. Lazard is reiterating a Buy today, arguing SunPower and MEMC (WFR +0.6%) should benefit from plans to securitize solar panel leases. The firm also thinks large-scale solar projects, such as those First Solar (FSLR -0.1%) depends heavily on (SunPower and MEMC handle some as well), could qualify for REIT structures.

    Not exactly - he bought two solar plants SunPower is developing, while giving SunPower contracts to build/operate them.
