The service will likely rely on cloud gaming platform Gaikai, which Sony bought last year for $380M. We should get more details at Wednesday's PS4 event. Wedbush's Michael Pachter expects a PS3 price cut to be announced at the event in tandem with the PS4. (new controller/specs) (pricing)

Sony has other items on the future agenda which many might find interesting...how about in the forefront for the new 4k television sets or OLED technology?
And sony might have just the hottest new smartphone in xperia Z which could be a smash around the world.
Of course their film and media business is strong and with a new CEO at the helm, we might just see one of the best turnarounds of the year.
If the Japanese government continues to weaken the yen, profits at almost all these companies will continue to impress.
