This morning, Nvidia (NVDA -1%) has announced: 1) Its anticipated Tegra 4i, which aims to take on Qualcomm's (QCOM) Snapdragon line by fusing a Tegra app processor with a 4G modem. But whereas the standalone Tegra 4 uses ARM's Cortex-A15 CPU cores, the 4i uses the older A9. Also, 4i-based devices aren't expected until Q1 '14. 2) A 4i reference design called Phoenix. 3) Its Chimera imaging tech, which enables live HDR image/video capture. 4) The high-end GeForce GTX Titan GPU; graphics cards will go for a mere $999.

  • So the info that JHH himself confirmed that T4i is A15-based turned out to be bogus. Share manipulation attempt I suppose.
