    Medicaid-dependent insurers are hit after a warning from Amerigroup (AGP -18.4%) says the state of Georgia made a sweeping review of its Medicaid records and discovered a number of duplicate payments, which resulted in a $0.16/share charge in Q2. The state is now seeking reimbursement from insurers. WCG -10.6%, CVH -4.8%, CNC -4.4%.

    Good for you Georgia! It is about time that States and medical insurance companies woke up to the practice of double and triple billing on medical expenses! Mistakes is what these companies claim but I think it is just a way to enhance their bottom line. With modern technology, double billing should be rare and triple, quadruple, etc billing should never occur.
