Juniper (JNPR -1.5%) is reviewing options for its enterprise networking ops following failed attempts to sell some of its assets, Reuters reports. Among the assets reportedly put on the block was Juniper's NetScreen security hardware unit, which has been bleeding share to upstarts. Juniper is now said to be eying acquisitions (potentially financed via private stock sales), albeit "with a longer-term view of a sale or spin-off." Juniper's enterprise sales fell 10% Y/Y in Q4, while its service provider sales rose 9%. (EMC rumor)
