Thursday, February 28, 10:57 AM ETAs miners like Alpha Natural, Consol, and Arch shut metallurgical coal production, Rhino Resource (RNO) says it's been able to secure contract prices high enough to keep its Central Appalachian mines operating. The company has about 4.4M tons of coal under contract thus far this year (met and thermal) vs. 4.7M for all of 2012. (PR)
