ZTE (OTCPK:ZTCOY) claims it shipped 35M phones in 1H 2011, and looks to ship more in the second half on the back of 30 new device launches. Low-cost Chinese manufacturers such as ZTE are increasingly a threat to Nokia's (NYSE:NOK) standing in emerging markets, and also present a challenge to Motorola (NYSE:MMI) and other high-end Android vendors.
