Shipping stocks (SEA) take a speculative run higher as data from China, Japan, and the U.S. provides some optimism over the global economy. The topsy-turvy trading in the sector isn't for the feint of heart, as the glut of oversupply in dry-bulk shipping keeps analysts extending out their call for a recovery which will take hold. Advancers: EGLE +13.3%, PRGN +18.4%, GNK +10.9%, SB +4.4%.

EGLE, PRGN, GNK all lose money except SB Safe Bulkers which pays a dividend out of earnings not borrowings. SB is top of the Leader Board and only Dry Bulker worth owning.
