Monday, March 18, 6:39 PM ETGoogle's (GOOG) Nexus 5 phone will have a Nikon camera module that's "better than everything else," a source tells Phone Arena. He also claims the device will have a 5" 1080p display and a Qualcomm (QCOM) Snapdragon 600 processor; a Snapdragon 800 will reportedly go into the next Nexus 10 tablet. Google+ chief Vic Gundotra recently hinted future Nexus phones will deliver major camera improvements. Qualcomm supplies the app processor for the Nexus 4, and has been rumored to be the supplier for the next-gen Nexus 7.

Nexus 4 is en par with iPhone 5 and Samsung GS3.
The only drawback is that there aren't enough of them.
It's like the laptop spec wars of the 90s. Sometime after the pentium, people stopped asking what was inside the PC. Now even the cheapest laptop can do what I want it too.
People buy for customer service, user interface, software, ecosystem, and durability. And, also price.
Same will be true for phones.
What's worse for GOOG is that android aka Samsung has become their worst enemy. It's GOOG's products have to compete with not only Apple but with every other Android manufacture.
Furthermore, there hasn't really been much of an ecosystem across multiple devices concept until Apple came along. Frankly, I'm not worried as much about Android and Apple as much as MSFT/NOK somehow gaining a giant innovation burst and starting a good ecosystem.
Given Apple's valuation, apple is by far way to cheap at this point. Long AAPL
