    "Andy [Rubin] is a solo artist who likes to run in a direction and ignore everyone else ... When Android grew to a certain size and required interaction ... he became frustrated and incapable of managing the business," a mobile exec tells The Verge in a column examining his departure from the Android (GOOG) team. Rubin's support for the increasingly questionable Motorola acquisition and his inability to get carriers/OEMs to halt Android fragmentation are named as two recent failings. But it's hard to complain about market share numbers. (also)

    I think Rubin, Sinofsky and Forstal are all the same person in disguise.

    He is one productive individual with a slight personality defect.

    Is this the beginning of the same media whitewash job done to AAPL? I'm sure the big Wall Street players are salivating at the chance to hold the small investors upside down and shake out their pockets. Which will lead, of course to the next run up of AAPL.

    Funny. Every time someone leaves, there is a pattern. Not a team player. Too much for him. If there is a failure, this person was the driving force for it.
