This doesn't make much sense to me. Meego is an Open Source OS. Anyone can "acquire" it by downloading the source, then forking it.

I hope samsung does adopt it, its Bada OS doesn't seem to be there yet, but an acquisition seems to be a strange way to approach it.

....they can all try all OS's they want (waste of time & $).....but they'll all come back to ANDROID as their FIRST option. Android is on Fire plus Android innovates at the rate no-one can follow including mighty Apple iOS.
