HTC (OTC:HTCCF) is now the dominant Android vendor in the U.S., according to an ARCchart study which pegs the company's U.S. Android share at 58%. HTC's strength is good news for Qualcomm (NASDAQ:QCOM), given HTC pays a relatively high royalty rate to Qualcomm, and has been a steadfast buyer of the company's chips, including its costly Snapdragon processors.
