Thursday, September 15, 2011, 12:08 PM ETQualcomm (QCOM) claims its high-end S4 Snapdragon processors, based on the company's Krait architecture and set to include quad-core parts, will arrive in consumer products in early 2012. This puts the S4 only slightly behind Nvidia's (NVDA) Kal-El Tegra chip, and suggests it will be available for the first batch of Windows 8 (MSFT) hardware.
