    Microsoft (MSFT) is reportedly exploring partnerships with Comcast (CMCSA) and Verizon (VZ) to allow Xbox users to access pay-TV services without needing a set-top box from the likes of CSCO or MMI. Last week, the company previewed plans for its Xbox TV platform, which will feature a combination of live and on-demand content.
