    Like IHS iSuppli, Gartner sees Apple (AAPL) remaining the tablet market's leader long-term, predicting the iPad will still have 45.6% of the market in 2015, via 116M shipments. Android (GOOG) is expected to have a 35.6% share, and Microsoft (MSFT) 10.5%. For 2011 (a little easier to forecast), the iPad is expected to have a 73.4% share. (IDC forecast)

    These analysts never cease to amaze me. I wouldn't be so confident about Android. They've a ton of litigation issues ahead of them. In fact, Google's largest Android 'customers' (of course, you're not really a customer if you don't pay anything) have now signed a deal to pay royalties to Microsoft for every Android device they ship, in order to avoid being sued by Microsoft on Android related patents. And it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure neither can be pleased Google has bought itself its very own tame device maker. I'd guess both of these could jump ship before 2015 and either use Microsoft's mobile software, or their own. That would more or less sink Android as a big player.
