I was tired of the cult god status given to Jobs by his followers when he was alive and I am tired of still having to hear about him now that he is finally dead and gone for good.

Businessweek has devoted their WHOLE DAMM current issue to Steve Jobs life and times. Sheese.

The only reason Google/Samsung are dealing this announcement is that they were afraid of pissing off the Steve Jobs cult members, whom they want to try and get to switch from the mystical iPhone to an Android phone.

Well apple is second to none, jobs deserves adulating credit.
Sales in the 100 plus billion, cash approaching 100 billion, an official salary of $1. The whole exercise was a hobby for him. A frigging hobby, can you grasp that. A teaching moment that needs to be memorialized.

That will happen when Steve rises from the dead & directs Google/Samsung to produce devices equal to the iPhone instead of the crappy, buggy, balkanized devices/software they produce now & will continue to produce in the future.

Steve was an awesome person and the technology speaks for itself but enough is enough, Apple with their tech isn't what it was a couple of years ago, meaning being ahead of its competitors and the competition isn't what is was either. The gap has narrowed down a whole lot. I was expecting some sort of new state of the art Iphone. What did we get? Just a Iphone that is up to par with any other elite smartphone out there. Prove me wrong I dare you. I'd still choose the Samsung Galaxy SII over the Iphone 4S which happens to be half a year old already. Apple has caught up now, not the other way this time around. Just look at their feature if the IOS 5 that replicates a lot of Android feature, I mean a lot.
