    M&A rumors continue giving InterDigital (IDCC +6.6%) investors vertigo. Shares rose today on a DealReporter story claiming bidders who had given up on buying the company may be reconsidering, and Intel (INTC) could be trying to form a consortium that would make a bid. 2 weeks ago, a DealReporter story sent InterDigital shares in the opposite direction.

    If the venture does become a consortium, I doubt the deal would do much to move the needle, either short or long term, for an INTC investor's portfolio.
