    Despite Sony's (SNE) strong brand, James Simms of Dow Jones Newswires appears unconvinced that the firm can revive its TV ops. "Management doesn't have a track record to suggest success is likely," while it has repeatedly appeared to misjudge the entire sector, Simms writes.

  • SNE misjudged the FX market? They are not in the market to trade/hedge the Yen.

    Sony is adopting a "4 Screen" strategy, in which TV, Mobile, Games, and Computer work all together with Sony's great content library. If Howard Stinger steps down in March, the Japanese Executive Deputy President Kazuo Hirai to take over has much operational experience and respect within SNE!
