    One of the things I value with Seeking Alpha is its insistence that the writers focus all published articles on investments and actions that investors can take to increase their portfolio value.

    I have learned an enormous amount from everyone here at SA, and have been blessed to have folks read my articles and actually like them enough to keep coming back. I am so appreciative of that.

    One area that I have been getting messages about is where I personally stand in the political arena.

    While i realize that policies in Washington DC can and has had an effect on Wall Street, I tend to shy away from a political debate.

    It gets us nowhere to define our investment goals with who we might vote for in the next election.

    That being said, I wanted to offer my point of view for whatever it is worth. I will be voting for the Office of The Presidency in the next election. I will be casting my vote for an American that has dedicated his life to public service.

    That public service could be of any area; Government, Military, Business, Education, Innovation. Whether a success or a failure, male or female, white, black, Hispanic, whatever. Of any religious background or none at all.

    My vote will be cast for a dedicated public servant that has decided to give of themselves for the greater good. With ideals that are not varied from, or swayed by popular opinion. Honesty and trustworthiness are vital issues in my voting booth as well.

    By leaning, I am a capitalist, a moderate conservative libertarian liberal. I believe in the United States of America and the system of government we have, will have, and that which many have fought and died to preserve.

    I believe in the good of our Nation and our population.

    I will be casting my Vote for an American, who holds those beliefs as I do.

    I am an American.....I am proud of whomever holds that office.

    Your phrase "moderate conservative libertarian liberal" sure pigeon-holes you. I guess you can pull all the levers or none or . . . ?
    I agree with the vast majority of your beliefs and tell my friends, many of who are hard right-wingers, left-coasters or just plain confused that I'm neither a Republican, a Libertarian nor a Democrat. Rather I'm an American,
