HCL Technologies' Japanese Arm Inks Agreement With D&M Group 0 comments
Jan 27, 2013 10:18 PM
One of the leading software exporters, HCL Technologies Ltd today said that its Japanese arm HCL Japan has signed a transformational engagement with D&M Group to provide services for supporting the deployment of SAP solutions.
As per the terms of agreement, HCL would reconfigure D&M Japan's implementation of financial solutions from SAP along with other related applications. In addition, the agreement will also require HCL to consolidate the company's financial data as well as to align the company's code structure, said HCL Technologies in its filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Through the engagement, D&M Group expects that its closing activities, which currently require substantial manual interventions related to accounts receivable and payable activities, will be simplified with the implementation of SAP solutions. HCL will also address issues such as lack of organized tools for capital budgeting and cash flow forecasting, the filing added.
