  • Why I Am Drinking In Marley Coffee (JAMN) 0 comments

    Marley Coffee - (Symbol: JAMN)

This company brings to mind the old Warren Buffet Test: If you can understand the company, you like their products, and you know people who use those products, then it's worth taking a look at the stock.

Guess what Marley Coffee makes. If you said the coffee, you are correct! Now, we are willing to bet that you know more people that drink coffee than don't. The fact is, coffee is the second biggest commodity in the world (the first is oil, but we don't recommend drinking that), and Marley makes one sweet tasting cup.

Accordingly, we know the product, we like it, and this company in particular is poised for some rapid growth.

After a rough start, new management came in - including some veterans of the coffee business - and the results have been impressive.

The company has introduced a variety of new products and packages, including the single-serving RealCup, which can be used in any Keurig machine.

In fact, even though this product was just introduced in late 2012, the company is now shipping over 1 million of these RealCups per month! That's pretty incredible product acceptance and market penetration! And almost every week, the company has another major grocery chain signed up to carry their products.

Oh, and by the way, the products use organic and sustainable farming techniques so their good for the Earth... not that we care all that much, but it makes us feel better as we are making a huge profit on this growing company!

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.
