I am investor. Following the market since year 2000 and received Exchange Operator in 2008 at the Argentine Institute of Capital Markets. Occasional investor'm looking mainly at technology companies.
According to last minute information to which I agreed, in tomorrow's President Cristina Fernandez de Kirchner announced the Argentine government enter in YPF.
The details are as follows:
- 100% of the shares of the company, 49% would remain in private hands (Repsol).
- The remaining 51% would be the Argentine government.
- The president of the company would also be imposed by the Argentine government.
So think of extreme danger these shares. I recommend a SELL shares. We all know that the market does not like state intervention.
We have seen in these last months of YPF shares have lost significant value and surely this will continue down the same road after government intervention ...
The numbers are the following:
Closing today: $ 21.11 -5.00% touching an intraday low of $ 20.71
In 52 weeks the stock lost 54.30% of its value So far this year losing a 39.10% Market capitalization is currently $ 8.30 B at this time.
I recommend in my humble place does not take positions in these shares, taking the government in anything can happen ...
Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.
