FIVE Unlocking Today Could Put Pressure On Price 1 comment
The lock up period is over for FIVE today.
The stock may come under pressure today for several reasons: 1) There are several VC and PE firms that can now sell a very large amount of stock, 2) There are many insiders in management that can now sell, 3) stock has run up since pricing so insiders may be inclined to sell, 4) Academic studies show that IPOs with quality underwriters tend to react negatively on the unlock day, 5) The price has been trending down recently in anticipation of today, 6) Volume has also been building while the price has been declining.
Disclosure: I am short FIVE.
