Warren Buffett (NYSE:BRK.A) bought both Goldman Sachs (NYSE:GS) and General Electric (NYSE:GE) last fall before the economic downturn hit fever pitch. Like Buffett, investors should set their sights on the long term. Buffett has much to teach with his investments, and now is the time for investors to listen.

Given how big a supporter Buffett was of this admin and how much influence he has over the market, do we think these are two really good calls, or do we think he has some inside information (though doesn't really seem that "inside" anymore) on how the administration/congress is supporting these two companies? The administration and congress have too much invested in these companies, or maybe more accurately, these two companies have too much "invested" in the administration and congress to be allowed to perform poorly. It's very sad.
