Seriously, ETFs have allowed U.S. investors to explore and invest in unusual parts of the world in a transparent and liquid way. Since we started convering IShares Turkey ETF (NYSEARCA:TUR) on my Realmoney blog a few months ago, the fund has gained over 50%. This trajectory could continue as Armenian President Sargsyan enters Turkey today to watch a World Cup qualifier match. This step toward cooperation between two countries that separate Europe from the Middle East could have positive ramifications for Turkey. These two countries have been in a serious dispute since 1910. Peace and cooperation over trade could bolster this risky ETF.
