Buy / Sell and Short / Cover - Formal Recommendations

Perhaps you already know that my logo is: "Investing Wisely."

This is one of the several "Supportive Articles" for my public publications.

Your bottom line and my bottom line are the same. My bottom line is to provide You and my Clients excellence and superior profitability with the lowest possible threshold of risk in my Formal Recommendations. I exclusively focus on Conservative but Productive securities.

I have a very special and unique way of making money in the stock market. I call it my Methodology, you should know that there are many pieces of that puzzle that require both experience and hard - on-going - Work / Analytics.

One of those most important "pieces of the puzzle" is: Buying and Selling, as well as Shorting and Covering. I hope you agree: PRICE IS WHAT IT IS ALL ABOUT!

Price RULES and the rest of what you and I read is supportive but seldom as accurate as I demand when I invest my money and make my Formal Recommendations to my Clients.

This, for me, is "serious" and needs to be as accurate as possible. Never, perfect, but very, very accurate. You may have read in some of my publications that I insist that a given security have a probability and projection of a profit of at least 20%, or I will pass and continue to wait for another security to come along. Yes, they "come along" frequently enough to meet both, yours and my "asset allocation model" and consistently meet my goals for annual profitability of our portfolios.

I also insist on a second "probability." That is that my Formal Recommendations have at least a 95% chance of being profitable. My objective is 20%, but a lesser profit is still a profit in my book. Just so you know; most of my recommendations over the past 50 years have been more than 20% profitable. That figure has improved since I came out of retirement to manage assets again in 2007.

Note: I do not provide Formal Recommendation in any of my public publications. You will have to open an Email dialog, with me and we can go from there. senorstevedrmx@yahoo.com

Buying and Selling and Shorting and Covering use exactly the same principals. They are always purely Technical in nature. That means I pay no attention to the "News" - or my - excellent Fundamental Valuations - or my - greed or fear factor. Just for the record, I do not have a greed or fear factor any more. Remember: Price RULES!

So, what is it that works so very well? It is of course proprietary but in a few words. . .

All securities move in Cycles, both Bullish and Bearish. Text Books on technical tools such as Trends and Support / Resistance Lines can be used, but they are no where near as accurate as is needed to be "consistently annually profitable" as I want and demand for both my portfolio and that of my Clients. So, I have developed a procedure that works very, very well. It is truly one of a kind and tells me WHEN to make my investment decisions.

It also works well for protecting losses, but I really don't have a problem with losses very often.

Within a given "Cycle," all securities move in what is referred to as a saw-tooth pattern. Big and Little - peaks and troughs are created on the chart that can be analyzed and actually quantitatively calculated. I then wait for those calculations or computations to tell me two things: a) an Ascending Phase is about to begin; and b) a Descending Phase is about to begin. I fine turn this with all kinds of maturations of looking at my Longer-Term as well as my Shorter-Term pictures of that particular security.

I very much appreciate your reading this missive and will do my best to be even more clear if you will ask specific questions. Please understand that I have no intention of "giving away my farm" or telling you my secrets of over 50 years of developing a profitable investment Methodology. I also do not work with Traders or Investors who are not dedicated and serious.

    Smile, Have Fund "Investing Wisely."

    Dr. Steve
