Forecasting the U.S. Stock Market -- October 2nd:

Please read my past several postings on Forecasting the U.S. Stock Market in my personal Blog.

I cannot believe the World having a Bullish Day - Yesterday with the U.S. in chaos and such extremely poor leadership guiding the future of its People. It is the People that are being HURT and both the leadership and the wealthy are taking unprecedented advantage. It makes me both sick and angry.

It also confirms that the "Speculative" mind-set is ALWAYS WRONG but has a very strong influence within this current Marketplace. Yes, I pay strong attention to the "Speculative" and "Over - Exuberant investors but I will never respect them. They think they can compete with the above mentioned leadership and wealthy.

How WRONG can they BE? Answer: Very, Very Wrong. . .

I waited to after the opening to see if there was ANY BULLIS follow-through. Clearly, there is none leaving investors of yesterday and in prior days hanging with paper losses.

The shut-down will be over soon and budget talks will, starting today start to be the next item on the agenda of Washington. They will definitely screw that up too.

As for Forecasting the Marketplace. I will try to be specific but for now, rational investors are holding cash, and I am too.

    Dr. Steve
