  • There Will Be More Natural Gas Then Anyone Currently Has Estimated 0 comments

    My "investing in natural gas related companies" thesis is predicated on the continuation of low natural gas prices. The longer prices stay "cheap" the more opportunity infrastructure players have to build out the natural gas highway. My thesis would love to have natural gas prices near historical lows (current levels) for 5-10 more years. This will help Westport Innovations (WPRT), Chart Industries (GTLS), Fuel Systems (FSYS), Cheniere Energy (LNG) and Clean Energy Fuels (CLNE) just to mention a few.

    This article from today gives further support to our natural gas related company "investment thesis".

    I quote

    "The preliminary production for all the wells on the gas side is very high, .... Put another way, that well has 300 times more in daily production than the average well drilled vertically into the ground, said Rick Simmers, chief of ODNR's Division of Oil and Gas Resources Management."

    That ONE well has 300 times more production - holy mackerel.
