For the time being, I will no longer be writing for Seeking Alpha due to perceived conflicts with my employer. Essentially, it is believed that my writing may (or may not) reflect the view of my employer and may be influenced by the information I receive while at work.
As a result, I have been asked to discontinue writing in order to eliminate any potential conflicts.
I have enjoyed writing for Seeking Alpha and have particularly enjoyed the interaction with those who have contributed to the discussion streams in order to enhance the value of the articles. I will be checking my inbox and frequenting the site (as it is a tremendous source of information).
I hope that I have added value and look forward to learning more from the articles and discussions.

Mike: Like everyone, I will miss your posts, but the volume of your posts seemed frenetic, or manic, and I am glad to see you cutting back some, whatever the reason.
That's a real shame. I have found your articles useful, insightful, and valuable - far more than most SA authors. You present information rather than opinion, and clearly distinguish between the two. Thank you for the help you've given already, and best wishes in your career.
Wow. This is really bad news for many of us. I have really benefited from your articles which were well reasoned and researched. You are an excellent writer. For me, finding you here on SA was a real blessing, especially since I had a number of holdings in common, and am particularly interested in the preferred markets. I understand the problem, but still, like many others I hope I have the pleasure of reading your articles once again in the future. Jim
I have enjoyed your articles so much! It is a great blow to me that you will no longer be writing for Seeking Alpha. There is so little qualtiy writing about preferred stocks, particularly unrated ones. I know of no one like you.
Mike, thanks for your unbiased articles over the past two years. They were very much appreciated. Fixed income and bond investors, such as myself, will miss your writing skills and insight into these areas that are often overlooked.
I never missed any of your wonderful articles as your insight not only educated us novices, but also gave us the basics for making proper investment decisions. You were particularly helpful to me in your assessment of RBS preferred stocks.
I will echo User 447425's question, "do you have any outside subscription services?
Mike You are sorely missed by us fixed income investors. I hope to see your in-depth analysis and opining back here again or on some other forum (if the latter, please let us know here on SA). Any thoughts on the new NRF-C preferred? I also would be more than willing to subscribe if you are offering any advice via a subscription service Thanks again.
Bummer. You're a darn good writer who writes with knowledge and humility. Like others, let me know if you'll be offering any subscription services--or decide to do any financial management.
Michael, first, thank you for all the articles and contributions you have made on SA. I have learned a lot, and financially benefitted from, your sharing your knowledge! You rank up there with Brad Thomas in my Favorite Authors list, and I will miss reading your contributions. I hope you do well, and that you soon get a new, higher up position at a new company so that you can start writing again. I am not joking! In the meanwhile, I will miss reading your thoughts. Best wishes, mgordon10
I am sorry to hear this. Your investment ideas meshed very well with my investment style. I applied a lot of your ideas (and my money) based on your informative writing about the RBS preferred and SAN as well. I have been in RBS for years but have never seen the kind of analysis and comparison among all the issues of preferreds that you did. It was great work. I echo the guy who said he hopes, you get abetter job that has the added bonus for us of your being able to share your knowledge again. I wish you the best and thank you for your generosity.
