  • Q4 Come Back For Apple - AAPL (Options) 0 comments
    Oct 15, 2013 10:16 AM | about stocks: AAPL

Apple is currently 0.5% up in pre-market trading! Tech giant Apple has nabbed Angela Ahrendts, the CEO of Blackberry. Adhrendts will manage Apple's retail and online stores and oversee their "strategic direction, expansion and operation".

Apple is looking hot for the 4th quarter, I would highly recommend both buy and sell-side options for AAPL. I recommend going short-term CALLs for Apple, try to stick to intra-day entry & exits. Long-term sell-to-open PUTs for January would be my current best suggestion. Make sure to take advantage of short-term sell-side PUTs as well on Apple.

    Hypothetical Price Target - 510.00

    Trend - 492.43 / 504.63 (Using Price Target Model)

    Intraday trade - 10/15/2013

Keep your costs low, and leverage high:

    October Weekly | Strike 500 | Call

    Cost: 750.00 - 800.00

    Return - MAX: 1286.00 | MIN: 402.11

    Must Exit By : 10/17/2013

For the sell-side short-term I would take advantage of Novemeber sell-to-open PUTs, with a strike of $480.00.

    480 Strike - Sell-To-Open PUT

    Exercise @ 500+

If you are considering investing long-term in Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) with options, I would advise April 14 Sell-To-Open 490.00 PUTs.
