Closed the ConAgra (NYSE:CAG) position today, reading the most recent transcript, they will not be raising the dividend. As such, no place for it in a Dividend Growth portfolio.

I was looking at the Ralcorp acquisition, it's more than 25% of their size, by sales. Usually I don't like acquisitions bigger than that, too much integration risk. That, and they seem to think that synergies will be pouring out for years, enough to bring their EPS up 10% almost indefinitely.

I had a trivial profit on the short hold, decided to close the position and add something else later.

Disclosure: I have no positions in any stocks mentioned, and no plans to initiate any positions within the next 72 hours.
