  • Don't count your eggs until they hatch, er, pull flu vaccine from them...

China is flooding their own markets with stimulus cash, but they also need outside investment, particularly in those markets where venture capital is the game.

They are also looking at a potential problem with capital leaving the country, something that happens sometimes when you create functioning markets.

They are not dumb. They will try to talk the problem down to a manageable level, while they search for a solution that will not slay the goose laying the golden eggs...

OK, too many "egg" analogies, time to go eat breakfast.

  • Oh, people are falling all over themselves, Tripleback, to get into China. I see two ships passing in the night. The real goose that lays the golden eggs is the US consumer, not Wall Street, yet America is doing nothing to help him. Perhaps if China puts a stop to this hot money, investment in America will follow.

I don't think the US government really understands that without the US consumer coming back at least some, that there will be no sustained world recovery. China is investing on, and banking on that occurring. And if it doesn't because of the evil neglect from Wall Street, then the US and China will be like those two big ships going in opposite directions.

  • Shorting the China market with a stop at somewhere above 7 dollars. The valuations are really to the moon.
