    The following is the top ten winners for the week of April 30 - May 4

    Four of the top ten gainers are buyout related. They are PLXT, IPSU, SMSC and KNSY.

    Another gainer is also related to its acquisition activity.

    EMMS - A radio broadcasting company. Stock jumped after company announced that it sold KISS and leased the frequency to Disney for a total value of $96 million.

    Let us look at the remaining five:

    IFON - Number one gainer this week. Company announced very good Q1 earnings. Revenue increased over 30% over the same period last year. Net profit was $105,000 or $0.01 per share against $0.06 loss for the same period last year.

    CLIR - A recent IPO. Stock priced at a huge discount at IPO. The same for VIPS.

    EGT - A gaming company. Stock jumped after company announced the grand opening of its Dreamworld casino in Cambodia.

    SYNC - In hot Internet Online TV service sector. Earning is projected to have a more than 100% gain next year. The company announced the acquisition of Carbyn this week.
