"If we do not act now, we will have a devastating oil crisis in the next five to 10 years," John Hess, CEO of Hess Corp, said in a speech.

"We will ultimately be at risk of supply rationing demand through sky-rocketing prices that will threaten economic stability and prosperity."

    Here's the full article:

see, this is what Congress and the "new world order" folks want, and why they aren't embracing natural gas transportation. they WANT a world of oil rationing. how better to control the "free democratic" american people than by controlling their access to gasoline and individual transportation? while they distract us with biofuels, algae, electric cars, etc. etc. what they really want is to be able to completely control americans. this obviously would be a big problem if people were able to fill up their NGV's at home in their garages with clean, abundant, and cheap natural gas.

From the same Article, The very next paragraph:

"British oil major BP estimates that by 2030, fossil fuels will still meet about 80 percent of energy needs.

"I believe that in the realm of alternatives, it's dangerous to promise too much too soon," said its CEO Tony Hayward in a conference speech. "So we're talking about an evolution -- not a revolution in the energy mix."

Hayward put forward natural gas as the ideal transition fuel, as a means of moving away from coal, which is far more carbon intensive, for power generation."

"British oil major BP estimates that by 2030, fossil fuels will still meet about 80 percent of energy needs." and Natural Gas for Power Generation.

Thanks to new technology, the supply of domestic natural gas is WAY higher than we thought just a few years ago.

This must be disturbing to the one worlders that have been steering us toward an energy crises these last 30 years.

They must be burning the midnight oil trying to figure out how to retard the natural gas industry.

I recently saw a TV special about the mining of Natual Gas in Colorado and how it is destroying the health of the residents in the area of the wells. These poor people have lost thier health and thier homes due to all the toxic chemicals now in the air and thier drinking water. A big owner in a Natural Gas Company is ex Vice President Dick the Dick Chaney so this is why any reform in mining is blocked. It is a concern for all of us because of the proposed wells all around the country.

Not a problem. The retardtioon is completed in our executive and legislative branches. They will take care of making the sure the natural gas industry is fully "retarded".

Where have you been? We have been overriding our constitution for decades without benefit of legal amendment.

It won't be the treaty that does that. It will be the politicos that assign the treaty more gravitas than they assign our constitutuin and their oath of office.

I realize this topic is about oil, but to expand on your point it's important to know that these ownerships should be more widely disclosed.

Gilead Sciences is the producer of Tamiflu which a few months back was touted as the "cure" to the man-made concoction known as "swine flu". But how could Tamiflu be the cure, when it first appeared on the market a full two years before swine flue even emerged? Based on simple logic, Tamiflu couldn't possibly be the "cure".

What could possibly be the motivation for the declaration that Tamiflu would be of any benefit at all, let alone the cure for H1N1? In the very best scenario, it's harmful. But then, let's take a look at who owns Gilead Sciences. The biggest single shareholder in Gilead Sciences is......

    Donald Rumsfeld.

Draw your own conclusions as you see fit. I have drawn mine.

All of the previous vaccines have some effect, its called the Swine Flu only because the Mexican Government didn't want it to be called the Mexican Flu, even when it did originate in Mexico.....hurts Tourism.

Its the Nature of this particular Beast, the DNA is part swine, part bird and part human. So vaccines like Tamiflu will have some effect in enhancing the immune system to fight it, but to what extent is moot.

Besides, Good old Fitz said its just a scam. We shouldn't worry about it.

Speedspirit: Its probably just an Environmentalist Scare Tactic to prevent us from getting all of that Shale Gas. Only The Pure Environmentalists oppose the type of pollution that Shale Gas extraction brings with it.

Was this TV special put on my Michael Moore? One has to consider the source. Could if have been on ABC or NBC. Natural gas wells are all over this country and have been for years. No problems elsewhere. I would take a close look at that TV show and make sure both ears and eyes are open.

I would have to raise the BS flag on that article without more info.

The TV special was on the Planet Green channel and what they showed was the bubbling gas now coming up in streams ignites along with the tap water. No hoak no political agenda just dangerous unhealthy conditions.
    www.youtube.com/watch?...
The point of the show was that there are mining practices that would be healthier for the environment and produce by products for the companys but that reform in the laws is being blocked. Advantage here is if people will just up and leave their homes the NG companies dont have to pay royalties.

And I am aware that since our Constitution has been written the criminals in our Government have have been committing treason and getting away with it. I was just sharing before it happens the next move.

Speedspirit, Thanks for the enlightenment, at the very least this adds to my opinion that we need to have a federal govt eviscerated of power. They should consist of the 3 branches, judicial, executive, and legislative, treasury, military, National security agency, and state department. EVERYTHING else, all programs, should be sent back to the states along with that part of the budget. Return federal land to the states.

State rights should be the mantra. Washington is to corrupt. GOOOH.com

Obama's Home State, Illinois, is just as corrupt as anything Washington has to offer. It has a long history of State officials going to Jail.

    Remember Huey Long?

I just lost 3 thumbs down, I wonder what was erased?
