The company’s product line consists of a select assortment of exclusive brands that are designed and tested in-house via testing centers in China, Taiwan and the United States. Usually these products are specifically developed for particular niche markets, and are not often found in general retail outlets. In addition to its own products, Coast Distribution also provides products from many popular brands.
For its dealers, the company provides or assists with a wide array of services to design, develop, merchandise and stock a retail store anywhere across North America. Coast also supplies marketing support that include catalogs from 64 to nearly 1000 pages, and flyers that draw traffic and promote parts, accessories and unit sales.
In addition to its main focus, the company is also looking to expand into new markets, including the outdoor power equipment and independent hitch supplier markets. Coast Distribution’s long-term growth plan includes capitalizing on its market leadership position, providing the breadth of coverage necessary to supply the majority of customer needs, and strategically locating import hubs to regional distribution centers for maximum efficiency.
