  • International Stem Cell Corp. (ISCO) Tackles Wrinkles With Stem Cell Technology 2 comments
    Nov 19, 2012 5:40 PM | about stocks: ISCO

The history of science is one of trial and error, with plenty of accidental discoveries along the way. A case in point can be found with Lifeline Skin Care, makers of Lifeline stem cell skin creams and a subsidiary of International Stem Cell Corporation, developers of an important new stem cell source called parthenogenesis. A team of biotech researchers was working on cures for diabetes and Parkinson's when they discovered a powerful compound for regenerating skin cells, leading to the development of ground-breaking stem cell skin creams. ISCO is one of the only sources for these remarkable creams that maintains a pro-life position with stem cell research and regenerative therapies. No embryos are destroyed in ISCO's stem cell research, and Lifeline stem cell creams are the only products in the world that contain human, non-embryonic stem cell extracts.

Today, Lifeline Skin Care combines the latest discoveries in the fields of stem cell biology, nanotechnology, and skin cream formulation technology to create the highest quality, scientifically tested, and most effective anti-aging products. Purchases of Lifeline Skin Care products help to fund further ISCO research into finding cures and treatments for:

    • Diabetes

    • Parkinson's Disease and other diseases of the nervous system

    • Blinding diseases of the eye

    • Liver disease

Lifeline Skin Care patented creams are designed to stimulate the skin's own abilities to repair itself. They help the skin build millions of new, young, healthy skin cells, restoring volume and fullness, filling in lines around the eyes and mouth, and helping reverse damage caused by the sun's UV rays. Independent studies have shown that the creams produce:

    • 93% improved skin hydration

    • 73% increased skin elasticity

    • 67% decreased wrinkles appearance

    • 63% improved skin tone and brightness

I am a healthcare consultant, 28 yrs in HIM as a director, and currently travel for my work. Diagnosed with type 2 diabetes has been frustrating, because I must now be. On insulin, lantus, byetta, Metformin, glipizide. A pretty active and don't look my age, I've been told however, this diabetes cause me fatigue by the end of the day, and I have tried to reverse it by going raw food, or vegan, but that Is short lived being on the road.
I feel I should be on the gorilla diet, grass and dirt to heat healthy.
It would be great to find stem cell therapy that could help diabetics.
I can no longer eat white bread, wheat, sugar, fried, or fats,,because my blood sugar stay high even with my meds. Perhaps I've outlived my liver and pancreas, and it will only get worse.
I do not want to wind up like my dad, blind and a bi-lateral amputee from his diabetes. But then he lives in San Antonio Texas, third world treatment city for chronic illness rather than preventive medicine. Many residents and doctors train there to learn off the poor locals, overloading them with meds, and not really educating about the dangers of the american diet, and then amputating feet, and legs. U can go to the third floor of the university of Texas hospital and the coke machine there, has a life size picture of a diabetic woman, Hispanic not too overweight, lauding the goodness of drinking coke!! Really !! ???!!! And all those obese diabetics drinking it like crazy, with metabolic x syndrome. Diabetes is a horrible disease, that eats away your body and life.
